Subscriptions
AviTrail Premium is an auto-renewable subscription billed through the App Store. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Existing AviTrail Plus and Pro subscribers retain access to the Premium feature set while their subscription remains active.
Bird Identification
Species identification is a decision-support feature and may be wrong. Do not use AviTrail as the only source for conservation, legal, safety or wildlife handling decisions.
Free Identifications
Eligible signed-in accounts receive five starter identifications and one additional identification per UTC day. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may be withheld when automated abuse, duplicate media or service manipulation is detected.
Encyclopedia And Offline Packs
Taxonomy, names, descriptions and media may come from third-party sources. Attribution and license information form part of the content. You may use offline packs inside AviTrail, but you may not remove attribution or redistribute source media except as its displayed license permits.
Local Leagues
Local league points are for app engagement and may be adjusted to reduce abuse, duplicate observations or unsafe sensitive-species sharing.
Acceptable Use
Do not upload photos or sound recordings you do not have permission to use, attempt to identify people, share exact locations of sensitive nests or protected species, or interfere with the service.
